Daniel Dean, PA-C, has lived in the Treasure Valley since 2000. He is a physician associate and has worked at Idaho Joint and Spine since 2021.
He decided to become a physician associate in order to have a greater positive impact on the health of the community. He believes that the key to a happy and fulfilling life is by maintaining optimal health. His greatest passion is to help people feel better by using a shared decision-making process, educating people to understand their options and helping them to decide what is best for their individual situation. He believes healthcare and managing pain is not a one-size-fits-all scenario and a persons’ care is just as distinctive as the person being treated.
Daniel graduated from BSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and went on to graduate with his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University’s Physician Assistant Program in 2019. He has worked for over 20 years in Boise’s healthcare community as a physical therapy aide, emergency medical technician, and as a massage therapist. He has dedicated his life to bringing health and freedom from the limitations of pain to the people of the Treasure Valley. When he is not in the clinic he enjoys getting outdoors for camping, backpacking, hiking, hunting, and fishing with his family and friends.
